Kanpoh Steel Holdings Group. (hereafter, “the Group”) complies strictly with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereafter, “Personal Information Protection Act”) when obtaining or using personal information from our customers, business partners, etc. (hereafter, “customers”), and handles customer personal information as follows in order to protect it.
Definition of personal information
The Group considers personal information to be as stipulated by the Personal Information Protection Act: all “information related to a [living] person” (name, sex, date of birth, other information that can be used to identify an individual), and all information or attributes (e-mail address, user ID, password, card number, hobbies, rank, family structure, physical characteristics, etc.) that are incidental to and used in relation to a particular living individual.

The Group manages and protects personal information provided to us by customers and personal information obtained by the Group itself. The Group will respond appropriately, based on the Personal Information Protection Act, to requests from customers for the disclosure, correction, deletion etc. of their personal information held by the Group. Note that we may need you to provide materials to confirm that you are the owner of the personal information in question. In addition, we may need to charge you actual costs for postage, photocopying, and other expenses required to comply with your requests.
